Hi, I am looking for the forward facing rear seats for my troopie. Has anyone got any ideas on where I can locate some.
Thanks

they were very hard to get years ago when I was looking, I ended up getting a virtually identical Toyota seat out of one of the Hiace models.
Bear in mind that unless your troopy was originally a six seater it won't have the captive nuts in the rear for the seat mounts, the recesses in the floor for the latching mechanisms and the captive nuts in the C pillar for the top seat belt mounts. To be fully legal you will need to have it reengineered and the simplest and cheapest way might be to have an aftermarket seat and belts fitted.

Thanks. Ours was a 6 seater but when we purchased it had no rear seats as they had built drawers and storage. We have kids so we have to pull all of that out and put seats back in it.

Renee - Put a wanted ad on Gumtree, Dinkos, & Trading Post, and also search regularly on all three, for "seats". You might get lucky.
Also, watch the auctions - sometimes places such as Pickles & Graysonline have items such as seats, from people that are just scrapping them, or bodybuilders that are installing some other setup.

Cheers - Ron.

Renee - There's numerous Landcruiser seats currently available on Trading Post, including new Troopie seats. They're in S.A.

Cheers - Ron.

Hi Renee D,

I have a full rear seat and seatbelt kit out of a 2010 GXL Troopie available. It's brand new... never even sat in :)

We are in Sydney.

You can email me at rickandkerrie @ gmail.com if your interested.

Cheers,
Rick
