I have changed my plans to go to Fraser Island in February...could anyone provide any info on what it would be like in June.
Also how would you break the trip up if traveling from
sydney in a group of 5-6 4wd and
young children, ie,
places to stay and things to see. I am planning on two to three days to get there.

Mild days, cool evenings, lakes too cold to swim in unless you are an Iceberg.
Tide times will dictae whether it takes 2 or 3 days. We went in July last year and our trip notes for the
Sydney to Fraser bit are hereSmile, you're on ExplorOz
