Ugly looking mother.... like a coffin on wheels. No doubt well made but no real space or light. Not for me at any price.

IMO,that is one of the most unattractive camper trailers I've seen on the current market.

Saw it at the Sydney camping show, $99,000, but only invited guests were allowed to look inside. Its a big mother but I think for that money I'd be keener on the kimberley caravan.

I guess the beauty of the Nautilus is that if you get to a really deep river crossing, you could flip it over, stick on an outboard and use it to get across - just stuck on the other side without a tow vehicle...

A great alternative worthy of consideration would be the good looking Australian Off Road Campers & Caravans "Matrix Off Road", $10k less, looks great and from close inspection at factory in Caloundra recently, it appears to be robust and built to exacting standards.
The website is www.australianoffroadcampers.com.au.

You will need to copy and paste that site.

Howdy,
It is good to see some companies doing something different with more modern materials. It is about time we got away from old designs and materials. This one may not be good looking but at least is a departure from the norm.
I also second the Matrix, it is a cracker.

Cheers Ev

I'll second that Ev.
We got the same comments when we bought our absolutely trouble free ultimate ten years ago.

I'll second that too ev.
It's the same with vehicles....too many look the same, and become quite boring.
Good on for them to break the mould, it won't be long before the others follow.
Someone always has to make the first move.

We have an Ultimate Camper which we are very happy with but just can't see ourselves in the new Nautilus.

Sounds like a lot of envious people who can't afford it. I think it looks great. Much better than the older model.

Nah, its just plain ugly - nothing to do with price. But then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
