We shall be departing late next week travelling inland from
Goondiwindi to
Georgetown. I have references for free camps, viz., ExplorOz and Camps 6; but I know from posts I have seen on this and other web sites, there are many other
places - some of them quite beautiful and some quite isolated - where one can
camp free. We will be travelling only about 200 - 250km per day and will be passing through
Goondiwindi, Moonie,
Miles,
Taroom,
Theodore,
Dululu, Westwood,
Emerald,
Clermont, Charters Towers,
the Junction Rest Area, and
Georgetown.
If you know of any quiet spots along the above route, even just one, I would be very grateful learning of those locations.
