Hi
I'm thinking about attending the 4x4 gathering at Mt Ives station SA in sept/oct
anybody attend last years gathering ?? interested in any feed back about the event havn't heard of it before.

Great place Mt. Ives, but not when there are hundreds of people about.
There are only 2 showers and two
toilets (on the men's side) so ammenities are going to be stretched way past a comfortable level.
I assume there may be portable
toilets added for the influx of people but it's not for me at that time.
Wait for a quieter time and you will enjoy the stay much more.

Hi Bill, I have been past Mt Ives but didn't stay but have since wished we had.
I agree that it would be better when less people around.
Just curious to hear from someone who had been to a previous event.
They appear to have plenty of entertainment, but for $220 pp for three days
non powered camping I was inteested in some feed back.
