I do nt think the Hema 1/250,000 are as detailed as the same series supplied by Natmaps from Aust. Geosciences. I am going to run the latter on my Hema 6 Navigator

John,

I'm surprised the Navigator 6 doesn't come with the Natmap series of maps like the Navigator 5 did, as well as the Hema range of maps.

Hi Bill

That is the only downside, but I copied my Natmap 1:250K from the HN5 onto the HN6, dead easy.

Below is what John is talking about.

Apart from this issue, which you can live with, the new HN6 is even better and it is now even possible to import tracks directly into the normal OziExploer as you would for any user track, and not as a GPX File.

HI Josh
Yes they said they are working on the problem.Bit its a bit disappointing when you buy the program for $170.00 expecting it to work.

Yeah fair call. You would think in todays world of technology it wouldn't be that hard.

Hi,

It probably isn't that hard (in fact Im pretty sure its an easy fix) - more likely an oversight. Not many people use Trackranger (as far as I can figure) so maybe they (Hema) didnt do a test before release.

Hi

Has any one figured out why they dont work? Do the ecw files lack the required coordinate header information (contained inside ecw file structure) required by Trackranger?

Cheers
