toilet problems

we have a 2009 discovery pop top and on our last trip we were not able to get the toitet to flush ?? any clues please.

re toilet problems its a thretford c-402c cassette model not flushing any more thanks

Blade fuse inside the tank compartment may be blown- or primary van fuse before that. Pumps do fizzle after a few years I'm told.... Handbook should advise on removal to test

Had a similar problem with ours. After replacing the fuse, it turned out to be the pump. I initially and temporarily fixed this by removing some of the build up in the small pump. Just by swishing it around in the water reservoir. But eventually had to have it replaced.

One thing I found was that the whole unit was extremely difficult (for me) to work on because of the cramped spaces, both inside and at the access hatch. Eventually gave up and took it to a repairer.
A word of warning though, prepare yourself for the price of the pump.I found it varied hugely as I shopped around. And sorry I cannot remember what I eventually paid for the repair as it was a few years ago and I had a number of maintenance issues to be done.
