G'day to All

If anyone has driven the Buchanan Highway in recent weeks I would appreciate a report on the road conditions at the present time. We are heading off this weekend for the Territory, & will be driving from Dunmarra to Timber Creek on 6-7 July. Thanks in advance for your response.

I'm not sure if you checked out this - NT Road Report website
It reckons it's up to date but there's a phone number to call and check.

Graham, drove the first part from Dumarra to Top Springs the other day, pretty good condition, passed a 2wd camper van on the way, so that will give you some idea of the condition. We went via Binns Track to Timber Creek, so can't comment on the road from Top Spring to Timber Creek. Have a great trip. John

John thanks very much. Just the information I needed.how did you find the Binns track?would it create any difficulty for an offroad van?

Graham, you wouldn't get thru, we discussed this while on the track and decided that mates camper trailer wouldn't have made it thru some of the tight bits. John
