Just returned from a trip up to the Gulf country Limmen River and then across the Savannah way then back down to Sydney, approx 7200 klms.
The Super springs (I have no connection with the importer) worked a treat and apart from giving me an additional clearance of approx 40+ mm the ride was smoother . I am rather pleased I chose these over air bags.
(How, the arm BOO BOO? what happened)

cheers

Can we have a bit more info and where you got them. I had a bit of a search but would like it if you could show us the actual ones that you have.
thanks in advance.

Hi Redbakk
Google, Super springs and you can find all the info.
they are imported by Ateco . and are available from OPLock and some of the other 4x4 outlets. cost around $500 and can be fitted as a DYI.
If you have any problems contact Ateco in Sydney or Melbourne. I delt with Sydney office and found them most helpfull.

cheers

Which super spring are you using, the 400kg or the 600kg, as I am lookng at putting one in my colorado, also did you just wind up the front torsion bars to level the vehicle.

Cheers Ross.

Hi Rosss
I used the4000 kgs on the first setting.
Have not needed to wind up the the front torsion bars as the ute sits fairly level when loaded and when the Ultimate camper trailer is attached. it doesn't look too high when the camper is not on either.
May be you would need to do so if on the heaver setting or using the 6000kg set.

Cheers

G'day Willawa

The shoulder is improving and should be out of the sling in 2 wks and 2 days. Then the fun evidently starts when I get to move the shoulder after 6 wks in the sling.

I gave up trying to get the supersprings and put new OME springs on.

Went for a passenger seat drive to Childers yesterday and the ride is fine.

The bum had sagged sagged pretty good, but is now level.

Glad you have had a good experience with the s/s.

Another vote for Super Springs. I had them fitted In Sdelaide to my 60 Series LC. Smoother riide for sure. Biggest improvement is in keeping the vehicle flat when cornering, especially when heavy loaded.
