While researching for tracks etc up there we were warned about the landowner. Seems that he has a habit of sticking spikes in the roads and was "well known".

We stayed away. Maybe it was a good idea.

Where I see where you are all coming from on this topic ,, before you go off half cocked , put a bit of research into what this fellow has been through just trying to protect his property and livelihood and think how you would feel if it was your land ,, and I seriously doubt this matter has anything to do with him at all !!
