Sturt NP , track along NSW/QLD border ?

Does anyone know if it is possible and how far can you follow the border east of Cameron Corner ?

I do not believe that you are allowed to use the track beside the dingo fence. It is for fence maintenance only. There was about a 200 meter long stretch at the Toona Gate that was part of the Omicron to Tibuburra road. But that was following council detour signs around a washout.

Having a cuppa in the shelter on the NSW side/wedge of Cameron Corner a couple of years back. The ranger was parked just over the rise on the NSW side of the fence at the end of the "fence" track. He stopped a bunch of cars as they came over the rise on the "fence" track. I think they all got fined. Atleast he took details and photographed them still on the track. Oops.

Hi Stevo.

It is an offence to drive on the track beside the dog fence and there are big fines for ignoring this. There are signs at Cameron Corner which give details.
