Hi All, Just a heads up for those that have bought a cheaper Chinese generator.
Check with the supplier about spare parts.
Mine has a cracked fuel primer bulb & another small breakage. Still under warranty. Supplier says to return it to
Sydney for service. Not likely as it has to go from country Cent Q'ld. Freight likely to be more than it is worth. Have negioated where they supply parts & I fit them. Now the kicker. They have to order them from China. Lord knows when they will arrive.
The good news is that the local repair bloke had a couple of odd ones off a different motor that are doing the job.
I know I should have bought a Honda but this was quarter the price & double the Kva & has worked
well running the electric chainsaw cutting firewood. Yes it does get cold here. Bill
