Yes the NMEA settings only relate to data transfer from the internal GPS to programs installed on the unit - AFAIK there is no way to send NMEA data to external devices. If you are just trying to transfer waypoints and track data then the NMEA settings are not relevant. You need to install on you PC ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Centre (depending on OS on PC) - these programs will allow you to transfer data (but not NMEA) using normal windows cut/paste/copy plus use that cut down version of OziExplorer (Hema Navigator Explorer). One solution to the NMEA probem (if that is in fact what you are trying to do) is to purchase a cheap
"GPS Mouse".
