Snow

Hi Feathery,

I am down here on the coast near Port Macquarie but I overheard a couple of local truckies talking on the UHF this morning and one said to the other that he would send him a photo of Walcha.

I took it from that there was snow up at Walcha.

It is that cool here near Port that I rekon there must be snow up there. Mind you I am not going up to find out.

With the amount of wind about there are sure to be many trees over the road between Long Flat and Walcha but more importantly in the vicinity of Gingers Creek.

The Oxley Highway in that area is a very dangerous stretch of road in these conditions.

I'm sitting here baking in the western U.S., and snow sounds very nice right now!

Of course in a few months, I may have more of it than i know what to do with, lol.

There was snow on the New England highway at Black Mountain north of Armidale,Thursday of last week. Try ringing the truck stop/servo there.

Our neighbour is from Walca and he was saying on Friday that it was snowing up there - he was talking to some of his old neighbours. Didn't say how much or how thick and he's out at the moment so I can't ask for you
