Finished the run thru there today after
Palm springs yesterday and no real issues its quite dry with only 1 water crossing (under 500mm).
Definately some sandy sections but basically didn't need 4wd in the car however with CT definately would and you would need to be careful where you stopped, ut it is quite doable as per other posts with some care.
On our strip map it shows a long straight very sandy section just outside park on the southern side near ernst giles road.
This whole section has been graded and is quite wide and typical of outback sandy road.
Seriously pretty run , but has some quite twisty bits so CT would need good articulation as mostly you are running on river bed.
The actual point marked
Boggy hole is ons of the prettiest
camp site you can find Greendog.
