I am looking to take a trip to Lake Dunn (The Lake) near
Aramac.
Has anyone travelled the road from the East Plain Creek
near Belyendo Crossing?
As i'm coming from Charters Towers this seems like an interesting drive.
Cheers
Macca

Macca,
Have been down the Belyando Crossing "highway", but haven't ventured onto any of the side tracks.
Would suggest that road would be okay, as it would be maintained by the numerous shires it passes through. However, with all the mining activity lately, and the increase in cattle trucks, you may find the odd bull-dust hole.
Also you would cross the Great Divide somewhere there too, so it might be quite scenic. Note that the road passes not too far from Lake Galilee as
well. It's big!!!
As you say, "interesting".
Bob.
