Hello all. I purchased an ABR flyer not long ago for my old hilux ute, solely to power a fridge. To give myself flexibility I have wired the ute so i can have the flyer in the ute tray or on the floor behind the drivers
seat. Same goes for the fridge.
I would like the know the best way to strap the flyer to the floor. I am assuming i need some kind of bolt with an atttached loop which I can feed a strap through. Same goes for the fridge, what is the best way to strap it to the tray?.

Check out ovesco.com.au or Whitworths.
They both sell eye bolts, and other parts that would useful to make a battery box secure.
Would suggest that you use some "mudguard" washers under the bolts used for the in-cab mounting position. Would reduce any risk of the flyer becoming loose, from mounting bolts pulling through the thin body panels.
Bob.

Grunta,
If you look on the Sidewinder web site you will see a Flyer universal mounting bracket.
The configuration I used was the "L shaped" one which I bolted to the back of my drawer system, then a strap holds the Flyer securely to the bracket.
Scroll down the page to get an idea of what Derek has available.
P.S. The Flyer is a very good solution and I'm sure you'll find it most practical.
