Gday Steven
Lil Wes and i go up to Huggets crossing , its in google maps, easy to get to and a little harder to get out from . I have had my camper there a couple of times, a nice place to go. Huggets is north of Heyfield, go up Kentucky rd and turn left, proceed down hill to the river. There is a long drop and a few fire places. That is the river crossing at Huggets in my picture.

Dependant on the weather Sheepyard Flat on the howqua river is hard to beat. Close to Mansfield which has a comprehensive shopping centre if needed. Plenty to see and do around the area .Craig's hut is a must see for most. Good tourist info centre at the old Mansfield railway station on your left as you enter town ,theyr can provide excellent maps etc. Wherever you go have a good time and enjoy your new camper. Regardsjohn y.
I will go anywhere as long as it's forward

There is plenty of places west of Melbourne as well Steve. Boar Gully in the Brisbane Ranges just up from you in Geelong, the Grampians, O'Briens Crossing near Blackwood, Teddington reservoir near St Arnaud etc etc. The choice is huge and not forgetting along the coast as well. Get a copy of Camp 6 and hit the road!!

Enjoy the Camper.

Hey there! Congrats on the new edition. Our suggestion is you can't go past Echuca, anywhere along the
River is fantastic! Good luck!

The beauty of Victoria is you can find excellent free camp sites at almost every state & National Park. Suggest grabbing a map from the DSE, Parks Vic or tourist info centre. The Vic High Country doesn't fully open up until Cup Weekend but when it does you'll find literally thousands of great spots.
As a start look at Otways Camp sites which are close to Geelong. Possibly try Dando's.
Cheers Craig..............
