Review: Wuruma Dam - QLD

A lovely quiet spot right on the shores of a reasonably sized dam. Very rare to find a level spot so you will need your levellers. Some people dig holes for the wheels on one side, if you chose this option, then please be considerate and fill it in again. A great spot for birds, kangaroos and even spotted a few rabbits at pre-dawn. (First time in many years!). Dam water at toilet is not suitable for drinking, but generally OK for washing dishes and clothing. Red claw is reputedly here, but we were unsuccessful. Fishing license required. Campfires allowed.
