Yesterday I spotted a sticker on the back of a cub campertrailer that was being pulled by a blue dual cab ute with a canopy. The campertrailer also had the call sign 'Steptoe' on the back of it.

Well there you go...I thought the Ettamogah Pub was just north of the Caloundra turn-off!

The one near Albury (at Table Top) is the original one. Unfortunately it is closed down now.

Fortunately, the pub at Palmview on the Bruce Highway at the Sunshine Coast is still powering along. The complex is much more than a pub with its associated Aussie World amusement park and sundry shops & servo.

Incidentally, 'Ettamogah' is aboriginal for "place of good drink" and I can vouch for its truth!!!

Cheers

Hi Laurie,
I very nearly came up to say hello to you while you were stopped briefly outside the pub. I couldn't because I was going to my daughters school assembly across the road.
Happy, safe travels.
