Hi all,
I am leading a trip from
Wollongong NSW ( no trailers) starting at the end
of May 2013. It is a Boys only trip and the itinerary looks something like:-
We are going through
Broken Hill to
Yunta then up to Mt Chambers Gorge and
around the Flinders, then
William Creek to
Oodnadatta. Leaving
Oodnadatta we
travel up the Old Ghan
Heritage Trail ending at
Alice Springs. A few days
rest in Alice then the
Mereenie Loop to
Yulara for a couple of days then
Great Central Road to
Warburton. From there we travel on the Gunbarrel
Highway to
Wiluna and up the CSR over 16 days. Up through
Halls Creek to the
Bungles followed by backtracking down through
Halls Creek to Wolfe
Creek
Crater and back to Bililuna. Follow the Tanami Rd to
Alice Springs again for
a good rest. Across to Mt Dare then across the Simpson via the French Line
to
Birdsville. After a rest day here we travel across the bottom of
Queensland to
Quilpie and then down the Dowling Track to
Bourke. Then home
along the black top.
The itinerary can be seen here:

Two of the vehicles coming along have a spare
seat each and we are looking
for people who will fit in with the group and willing to share expenses to
come along. If you think you may be interested please contact me at
greg.carthew@exemail.com.au with some info about yourself. I will arrange a
weekend get-together
camp where we can test each other out.
We could also take another couple of vehicles, without trailers, along if
there is any interest.
Cheers
Greg
