I would like to buy a " Liquid Filled 6000psi
Water Pressure Guage " Its for a bertolini 3000psi high pressure cleaner pump but rather than buy it as a spare part I thought someone might know where best to source one/ If you know other than the manufacturer where I can source the unloader valve that would be great. I am in
Perth WA,
Thanks Peter

Thanks Scott, I had not heard of the purple pig before but its in the phone book. I see it does a lot of interesting products. I bought the pressure cleaner mainly to do the 4x4 and domestic cleaning. Seemed like a good idea at the time but the second time I used it I cleaned the inlet filter which was dirty. Checked the pressure guage to see what a difference it had made and noticed pressure was reading 100 bar instead of 200. Cleaning the filter has improved the flow.
It seems to still work ok but my experience is limited. Maybe the guage is faulty. I inspected the inlet and outlet valves and these seem ok. Maybe the unloader is partically recycling which it has to do when the trigger is released.
My web research, the stuff I should have done before buying reveals a lot can go wrong with these things and parts are not cheap. I will try another guage first, cheapest option and then tackle the unloader valve which is $250 for a new one but I will pull it to bits to see if it is sticking and can be fixed with some rubber grease.
I appreciate the pink pig tip Scott.
Cheers Peter
