I am currently in the market for new shoes for the 100 series and tossing up between BFG's and Mickey Thompsom 4 rib. I have got a price on the BFG TA KO at $280.00 per tyre which seems way under the odds of all the other quotes. Am I missing something here or am I just too suspicious.

Cheers Tom

Tyre size quoted on ? Which area for the reseller ? From what I recall, sounds suspiciously low for BFG's. Maybe the old "extra $ for fit and balance * has resurfaced :-o).

Thanks for the replies gents The area is Sydney and the price quoted was fitted and balanced. The retailer is a very big operation on the highway in what you would call the south inner west of Sydney. Also they said they had heaps in stock which was another thing that set the radar going. It is a major save in money if it is legit but a big loss if not. Sometimes the cheapest option is not the best?.

Google parellel import and there is plenty of info. Essentially it is importing products from their country of origin and bypassing all the middle men.

Thanks Mogul

Had a brain snap last night ,then I googled it, sneaky buggers aren't they it is a big saving I will probably go with the BFG's at $280 a tyre against my better judgement.

Thanks for the info much appreciated

Recently purchased BFG 265/75R16AT's for my 100 series at $313.64 plus GST. This price was cheaper than BF Goodrich quoted me. When I mentioned to them that I could purchase cheaper elsewhere, they said 'go for it'!
Had to buy ROH 16x8 - 5 stud rims as well at $95.45 each plus GST
