Hello all, Planing another trip. Were heading up the coast from Vic on the 1st Jan and are looking for o/night camps along a beach or nice
creek between
Narooma and Eden. We have the van so Gillards Beach is out so is anything on the highway or under a train bridge, ive found anything with a fee attached is booked out. I do have the camps 5 but first hand knowledge would be appreciated havnt been in this neck of the woods before.
Thanks
Sharon

You can get most vans into Gillards Beach. All the old free camps along the south coast are closed off

If you are taking a pet, be aware of paralysis ticks!

I would recommend
Wallaga Lake (north of Bermagui). I recently stayed at
Regatta Point right on the
water. The staff are very friendly, the caravan area is in excellent condition and those around me were catching good flathead, garfish and mullet. It was a bit windy but you would expect that at any coastal campground.

I second
Mystery Bay. After the 1st most people are starting to go home. Before that, standing room only. About 12k south of
Narooma. Kid friendly, close to beach, basic
toilets, and fresh
water.
Most likely where I will end up early in the new year to test out the new camper.

Thanks for that, Just had another look at Gillards Beach and it says max one month, easier to get into o/nighters. Just google maped both
places they look great.
Cheers
