Hi Does anyone know of ant reasonable sites to stay around North sydney we were going to stay at St Ives showground but they have stopped this .

Lane Cove has had good reports Lane Cove River Tourist Park, North Ryde

We stayed at Lane Cove several years ago and it was a great caravan park in a national park.
Short walk (about 10 minutes) to Noth Ryde railway station which was about a 20 minute trip to the centre of Sydney. We were sold a one week pass for the trains, buses & ferries at the caravan park office. did not need to use the car the whole time we were there.

Just spent a week at Sydney Hills C/P at Dural, great caravan park ,I can recommend it
Bus stop out front, but does not run on weekend, It's a short drive to Pennant Hills train station and the trains run about every 15 min. $21 give you all trains, buses,and ferry travel all day, $6.80 is the normal return ticket to central station, I think you can get a week travel on every thing for $51 We should have got this one
