Travelling South from Neal's Corner to Rawlinna on the Connie Sue, I was daydreaming a bit before I realised that we should have been at Rawlinna, according to the mileage. I checked our position with my hand held GPS and found that we were approx. 100Km West of Rawlinna on the Trans line.
The Connie Sue is certainly a good road and directs you to follow the well made road which carries you on to the West of Rawlinna. Unfortunately, the Connie Sue exit is not marked, not that I noticed anyway. The Connie Sue is definitely an exit to the left of the main road.
The GPS co-ordinates of the turnoff are 30 50 54 S and 125 36 17 E
A trap for the unwary....maybe I'll purchase an in-car GPS with Hema maps!
This is important if you're coming from the West as there is no fuel between Laverton and Cocklebiddy (approx. 1046Km)
Rather a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!
