Mooraback Campground - NSW

Mooraback campground is located within the Werrikimbe National Park near the Hastings River. If you wish to use the wood barbecues and fire rings you will need to bring your own firewood. No camping fee but a $6 booking fee is required for this campground. Book online. There is 2WD access (no long vehicle access) and camper trailers are permitted.Take your pick from the grassy campsites to set up your tent; the campsites are spread out so you’ll barely notice other campers. Your only company is likely to be eastern grey kangaroos and red-necked wallabies coming to graze in the afternoons.Stroll along Mooraback walking track, a short loop walk from the campground. Or wander out to Platypus Pools in the upper reaches of Hastings River and see if you can spot a platypus or two.
