At Kings Canyon, these
sandstone rock formations give off a ‘
Lost City’ feel having been formed from 20 million years of wind and rain erosion.
Having started out as cube shaped blocks bounded by intersecting cracks the weathering process has rounded off all the corners leaving these beautiful shaped domes interspersed by
flat rock.
