Historic steam driven woolscour. A visit to the
Blackall Historical Woolscour is a unique experience where the original wool scouring (cleaning) machinery can be seen in operation. The ingenuity from over a century ago is there for you to see in action as the passionate tour guides offer insights into the lives of our rural forefathers involved in the wool industry around the time of the industrial revolution. Blackall to your itinerary and spend a couple of days immersing yourself in the rich history of the Central West.The original machinery is operational every day durring the sesion.Gates open at 9.00am. Guided tours operate 3 times a day 7 days a week; ( 9:30am, 11.30am and 1.30pm.)Please note: You have to be on a tour to see the woolscour machinery. The rest of the grounds are free to enter.
