camp on the edge of lake brown (usually a salt pan) under the shadow of the rocks. Just 20km easy of Nungarin. The site features a
granite outcrop, hence the name although locals call it “
Turtle Rock”. Site is managed by Parks & Wildlife but is free, and dogs on leash are permitted as per the Wheatbelt Way guide. Pit
