Both Mickeys
Creek and Warrumbah Gorge are accessible from here. An easy gradient gets you to a
fork, right to Warrumbah Gorge, left to Mickey
Creek.Warrumbah says its only 200m, which is the end of the maintained track, but you can venture past this
sign, quite a way into
the gorge and its very rewarding. You get to a section where you can touch both sides of
the gorge after an enjoyable rock hop.Head back to the
fork and Mickeys
Creek is a longer maintained walk, again stopping at a
sign, but you can venture past that too. This walk is not part of the main one from the
visitors centre, but easy
parking and good signage help make this one to put on your agenda.Approx 3km return walk from
carpark. Grade 3
well worthwhile.
