Tully Falls - QLD

Usually no flow as water is diverted into Kareeya Hydro Power Station. During the wet season after heavy rain the falls will be tumbling.

Take the signed Rainforest Walking track to your right from the carpark at the main entrance. If you're keen, you can keep going past the sign into the shrubs (head left) and out onto the rocky plateau above the drop. This rock area shows all the carved out channels from its previous life as the spillway of the waterfall. Here you may even find water in the natural infinity rock pools near the edge. These are the rockpools that you'll see in social media where people film themselves using a drone swimming in the infinity pools. Note this area is high altitude (700m) so can be quite cold, and very dangerous.
