Campground on the shores of Lake Gillies within the Lake Gillies Conservation Area. There is a separate day area and camping area. Clean & maintain drop toilet and firepits. Large area suits all types of campers. Camp.ing is free in this park, you do not have to book online. Dogs are not permitted.Lake Gilles Con­ser­va­tion Park is made up of sparse and semi-arid mallee land­scape. The saline lake sur­round­ed by low sandy ris­es, gyp­sum dunes and iso­lat­ed stony hills pro­vide a peace­ful envi­ron­ment to watch the park’s birdlife.Self suf­fi­cient bush camp.ing is allowed in the park. The Eyre High­way pass­es through the park with 2WD vehi­cle access to the lake, but please be aware that the north­ern area adja­cent to Lake Gilles is acces­si­ble only by 4WD.
