George River (Camp 2) - WA

Located in the Chichester part of Millstream- Chichester National Park and only accessibly high clearance low range 4wd with river crossings. No fees to camp but vehicles must have park pass. To reach this camp you must drive across a wide bed of very large loose rocks after passing the first camp at the large waterhole but from there its easy driving for about 1km.There are a few camp options here at the river beneath the head of a rockwall but the embankment can be strewn with debris from flooding so may change appeal seasonally. The river looks good during the daytime from here shaded by the rockwall giving the water a “blue” appearance but camping is very exposed with no shady tree. Camp is on rocks and dirt.
