Sellicks Beach – and neighbouring Silver Sands – are renowned for their unique beauty, with the prominent greens slopes of Sellicks Hill Range reaching towards the Gulf St Vincent and down onto the pristine sandy beach. Sellicks Beach is also one of the few spots where parking is allowed on the sand, and it is as popular with families for its safe swimming as it is with surf fishermen. There are good boat launching facilities and excellent windsurfing when offshore winds prevail. For a bite to eat, the historic Victory Hotel has commanding views over the area and has been delighting travellers for years. Whilst the newly renovated Silver Sands Beach Club is a must visit for unrivalled beach views.Just south of Sellicks Beach, you’re sure to spot the 18-metre-tall statue of the Buddha goddess at the Nan Hai Pu Tuo Temple of Australia site. While the temple itself is still under construction, visitors are invited to marvel at the statue, meander around the surrounding gardens, and take in the unmatched ocean views.
