Bucks Bay is the bay for Carpenters Rocks an older fishing settlement, with the fishing boats moored in the bay.
The settlement has been slowly growing since the 1970’s and now includes a store, phone and basic facilities. Most visitors also launch their boat across the hard sand beach from the ramp at the end of the main road, adjacent to which is a large car
park.The
sandy beach and bay floor make beach 41 the most suitable swimming beach in the area, however beware of the frequent boat traffic and swim
well clear of the
boat ramp.This is the fishing port for the area, with most shore fishing off the headlands.
