Park is an area popular for walking, photography and nature observation. Some people class it as more spectacular than the Purnululu (Bungles) National
Park. It is easily accessible being just 2km from the township of
Kununurra and located just behind the Hidden Valley caravan
park. It's a must-see destination.
Park entry fees apply.Four walk
trails include the Class 3, 2.2km return Gerliwany-gerring Banan Trail. The Class 4, 800m return Derdbe-gerring Banan Trail climbs to points overlooking
Kununurra and intricate rock formations. The Class 2, 400m Looking at Plants Trail is a loop that includes a wheelchair friendly boardwalk. The Class 3, 500m return Demboong Banan Trail leads through a gap in the
sandstone range to a
lookout over
Kununurra.
