We are an independent non-profit community organisation which is developing and maintaining a multi-award winning private garden, aimed at showcasing and conserving the Rhododendron Genus. In our botanical paradise, we grow over half of the known approximately 1000 species of rhododendrons in the world.Located near the port city of
Burnie in Tasmania, come and discover our 11ha garden which houses over 24,000 plants in a woodland setting. It features rhododendrons from the icy Himalayas to tropical New Guinea, and across the Pacific to the Americas, all laid out in the geographical arrangement from where they originated along with their companion plants.Opening HoursGarden and Cafe: Open Daily*Hours: 10 am - 4pm *(excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day)
Entry: $15 per Adult or $13 Concession
Members & Children are FREEIf you need mobility assistance, feel free to book a
seat on our Buggy. This vehicle seats 5 passengers for a 25-30 minute tour, costs $7 per
seat and requires 24 hours booking.
