Enjoy a bit of outback history with a
camp overnight at Banka Banka Station, which has a great camping ground on the Stuart Highway, 100km north of
Tennant Creek, 70km north of Three Ways.
The large grassy non-powered
camp ground is a great stop over for travellers to break their journey. There is a licensed bar at the historic mudbrick
Homestead.
Enjoy a walk to the
lookout or to the bush watering hole. It is truly a lovely
camp spot on the highway.
Amenities are clean with hot showers and big rigs are welcome. Pets are welcome on a lead as native fauna wander around. There is no need to book in as many travellers stop in their travels after spotting Banka Banka from the highway.
Limited internet at
homestead for managers. Best to call rather than email the office.
