Monk's Tank - QLD

Monk Tank camping area features open bush camping sites in mulga woodlands, located approximately 30 km from the national park entrance. Access is via a narrow, unsealed road that may be challenging for large caravans. While a 4WD vehicle is recommended, the site can be reached by 2WD vehicles in dry conditions with caution. The camping area accommodates tents beside vehicles, camper trailers, and caravans. Facilities include a pit toilet. Mobile phone coverage is unavailable, and satellite phone and UHF radio reception is poor (local UHF channels: 24 or channel 6 duplex).
