Rest Area next to Corfield Pub on Kennedy Developmental Road approx. halfway between
Winton and
Hughenden. Close to Road (noise!). Has clean modern hybrid
toilet - wheelchair accessible. Also has small grassed area for tents, and room for big rigs. $2.00 hot showers behind Pub, pay at Pub (if open). Tapped water probably non-potable - usual safety precautions.
Corfield is a former Cobb & Co changing station and in its day had a
population of about 40. The town has since declined and now has a permanent village
population of seven. The pub is the main community facility in the village.
