Canunda National Park (North-South) - SA

From Southend to Carpenter Rocks. This track file takes you through the Canunda National Park starting in the North at Southend and finishing at Carpenter Rocks. It encompasses some soft sand beach driving that will require a mindful eye on the tides and tyre pressures around the 18 psi mark. After leaving the beaches you will encounter a very steep dune which although fine on the run down can be quite challenging if travelling North. The treck also takes in Coola Outstation, which makes an ideal lunch stop with plenty of shade and a bench/table. The run south from this point is relatively easy but take your time and watch for oncoming traffic, particularly trail bikes.
