I've stayed at the
Foreshore Caravan Park at
Ceduna - nice clean park near the main street and not far from the pub, if you want to go for a feed.

Brian,
There are 4 CPs in Davenport and 1 about 9Ks south of town. I recently returned from tassie and I stayed at the Able Tasman near the
ferry terminal as they allowed dogs. All I can say about it that the park and the abolution block was that it was just only fair. The abolution block should have been bulldozed years ago. You will find that many CPs in Tassie are like this as the owners will not spend the money to up grade even with the 3rd ferry running out of
Sydney now.
The other parks are as follows::: Bay view holliday village 2 Caroline St East Davenport phone0364270499.
Devonport vacation village 20 Caroline St
East Devonport phone 0364278886. I have been told that the one closest to the beach is the better one in Caroline St.
Mersey Bluff CP is on the point on the other side of the river entrance. It is a council park and it is not fenced of from the rest of the public park at
the bluff. Phone 0364248655. I hope this has been of some help but I do believe that Feb and March are their busiet time and that you have to book ahead as tourist sites at many parks in Tassie are limited. Regards Salty.

Thanks for all the great advice you blokes , i hope you would do the same for a white fella !!!!
After i posted my original request i decided to browse the internet and used Google as search engine and typed in "Australian caravan parks reports " and this interesting site came up with reports on caravan parks right across Australia , interesting to compare some of the recomendations from
John and Jan Tait in their book ' Explore australia by caravan "with the reports from different individuals . i guess like anything the whole climate in any business can change for better or worse in a very short time with a change of ownership
