Good fishing spots between Wonboyn NSW & Bairnsdale Vic?

G'day all, after leaving a wedding at Wonboyne on the weekend I would like to know if there are any good fishing spots along that road that are freecamp & dog friendly? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks, norm

G'day Aussiedingo, a dog friendly
free camp may limit your opportunities in that part of the world as most of the free camps are in national parks.
If you've got a tinnie and decide to pay to stay in a park
Mallacoota, Bemm River and
Marlo are all good spots. If you're land based fishing there's surf beaches nearby each of these
places and you may pick up a bream or 2 off the banks of the estuaries as
well.
Further west Lake Tyers,
Lakes Entrance and the Nicholson and
Tambo Rivers are also worth a go.
