Was wondering what peoples camping plans are for 2015. So to kick it off here's what we are doing.
After spending many many years exploring from the
Tropic of Capricorn north, We have decided to head south,
Gladstone Qld to
Mallacoota Vic. Following the coast on the way down and coming back up inland, haven't been down that way camping since doing the big lap in 97. So the only other planning is the departure date of April 17th.
Hoping to find some nice bush/ beach/ river camping, don't have a problem with caravan parks, but not really into communal living.
Cheers and drive safe.
Tony.

Tony,
Sounds like you're on top of your planning process
well and truly!!!
As for us...
well our camping exploits over the past 5+ years could be jotted down in bold print on the back of a half-sucked Aspro!!! KIDS!!!
When they were
young we dragged them all over the eastern half of the country. However, kids (being kids) have a bad habit of becoming teenagers.....a common breed of being who simply don't want to be seen with the old fogies.
So, what to do??? They're too
young to leave
home alone and if we INSIST they come along with us on trips, they go out of their way to make our trip a damned nightmare!!!
GGRRRRR!!!!!
Anyway, youngest lad is now 14 (others are 17 and 19), so we reckon we can start looking at going on some weekend trips (just Annette and myself and maybe on some club trips too) and make some use of the Ultimate Camper and the new tow rig that I'm picking up on 9th January (Chev Silverado).
So, whilst we have nothing definite planned, we WILL be getting out'n'about more this year.
Cheers,
Roachie

Well it looks like life is on the up and up, must be seriously anxious for the 9th of January to come.
I'll keep a look out on our travels for your rig, shouldn't be to hard to pick out.
Enjoy many years of travel with it.
Cheers.

Tony,
Have a 4 week jaunt planned for the National Gathering next year.
Have also just signed the dotted line on a new vehicle so a few smaller trips will be needed to
check all things are functional.
Cheers Kev

Well our major trip for next year, hoping to leave Alice early June, is the trip across the
Gary Junction Road with the 2 couples we did the GCR with last year. We intend getting there via either up to Mt Isa & down or corner & meeting them possibly
Marree then to Dalhousie before Alice. Hoping to come back via the Gibb to
Normanton then
home by September. No definite dates set as yet apart frpm Alice in June.

I's definitely over to WA via the
Gary Junction Road and down through Ruddal River NP.
What comes before this and after is yet to be organised.
