Marianna Waterhole, Cordillo Downs Rd camping

We're looking for a camp between Birdsville and Innamincka. EO places has Marianna Waterhole as a possible camping spot. It's also a bit better positioned along the track than Cadelga. Has anyone camped there, or been told that they are not welcome? Tricorner burrs get a good run as a nuisance at Cadelga, presumably the same when camping anywhere along the road?

Dont know the name, and not 100% sure of where it is, but we found a camp in cooper creek pretty sure it was on our way to birdsville but might not have been on the track from innaminka.
It had a flushing toilet, couldnt believe it and plenty of space. There was even an outside tap with a hose attached.

We found a spot on the banks of a dry creek south of Cordillo. No prickles. The wind did come up and it was pretty dusty

I remember someone telling me that they had camped just outside of the Cordillo Downs property (southern side). Also where the road crosses Montkeleary Ck - near the turn of to Arrabury Rd.

.
We have camped overnight just off the Cordillo Rd in, or adjacent to, a dry creek. A little north of the homestead as I remember. It was a few years back.
Good spot, sheltered and no prickles that I recall.
I recall that there were a few similar spots along the track.
Cheers

If you take the Arrabury Road you can camp at Haddon corner. No facilities when we were there, but worth a look. Just a couple of low dunes on a firm track on the way in.

Thanks Wildmax, that's something to consider, I was going to discuss with the party the option of Haddon Corner. That would tick off the three of them in the one trip.
