Hey,
Has anyone taken a van into Dalhousie Springs from Oodnadatta and on to Finke?

Cheers

The ever increasing numbers of vans & campers being dragged across the desert suggests you wouldn’t be the first to tow into Dalhousie.
Track through Perdirka should be treated with respect, and after Dalhousie, take the track through Bloods Ck Bore to Mt Dare. Don’t be tempted to take the notorious “short” cut, that looks like it might offer some time saving.

I have only been to Dalhousie once. All ok until near, and the washaways of the track may break a trailed vehicle ball/coupling because of it being asked to articulate through more degrees than designed. An off-road coupling would be my choice. Mine was a T van , so it was ok with it's hitch. Not sure what you have but be aware.

Thanks guys, took a 24' Optimum caravan in there. Took a right just after Hamilton Station and the track was fine. A few corigations when we went through the park at the end. Better than the track out towards Mt Dare
