Make sure you stop in at
Hat Head. It's on the coast across from Kempsey. It is a beautiful spot to stay, lots of good walks, great unspoilt beaches, and good fishing. It is one of the best land based whale watching spots in Australia. It's quiet, as it only has a general store and a bowling club. The caravan park is
well set up with good facilities. It's my piece of heaven on earth.
