We are thinking of buying a Lido 2 burner plus grill stove to replace our old 2 burner gas stove. Has anyone had experience with these stoves and are they worth spending the extra money?
Thanks.

Alan
They are great - we have used ours several times and they stand up to the vibrations on rough outback roads. I paid $250 plus a hose - possibly $12 from memory.

toby T,
I am also looking at buying one of these stove's, when you say they stand up to rough outback travel, is your's mounted/stored in a camper trailer?

Alan, we have one of these in our
Tambo camper - excellent finish and works
well, particularly the grill for toast etc. I am not sure of the cost as it came as part of the packahe we bought but it is a great stove IMHO. I would buy another no problem.

Responding to a few questions asked of me.
Mine is mounted in my camper kitchen not my vehicle whilst traveling. Was the stove
Tambo Campers offer. I spoke to them today and they have changed the pricing since I bought
mine. For $255 they include a 2 metre hose ($15) and and elbow ($10) - you'll only need a regulator.
There is a marine version that I saw for around $450.
Toby.
