I also just returned from a trip out around Mt Isa and so forth. Thought I might show fuel prices we encountered.
Warwick-99.9, Talwood-1.08.9, St George- 1.12.9, Mitchel- 1.09.9, Tamba-1.03.9, Longreach-1.04.9, Kynuna-1.16.9, Cloncurry-1.15.9, Mt Isa-1.02.9, Camooweal-1.26.9, Barkleys Homestead-1.40.0, Tennant Crk-1.23.9, Barrow Crk-1.43.9, Alice Springs-1.19.9, Marla-1.37.9, Cobberpedy-1.29.9, Port Augusta-1.09.9, Cobar-1.17.9, Gilgandra-1.15.9, Tamworth-1.11.9, Tenterfield-1.07.9.

These were for unleaded during 6/4/2005-12/04/2005

Quite a range of price differences, $1.43.9 really hurts the pocket.

Cheers

Hi Dave,
Well it didnt go too bad except for a couple of unexpected probs. First one was pulling into Longreach it started making a racket sounding like the motor was going to drop out, ended up pulling into a caravan park as it was dark, and after checking it out in the morning discovered that a bracket had come undone that atached the airfilter to the top of the carby.
So fixed that up. Didnt sound too bad.
Got to the other side of Cobberpedy, 91kms and it started missing and dying just managed to crawl into the emergency phone rest area. Had a bit of a fiddle, gave the points a bit of a file, couldnt think of anything else. Still playing up, had to decide whether to try for the next town or head back to Cooberpedy.
Back we went, ended up needing new points and also relocated the fuel filter. And after that and a lovely night at Rebys underground caravan park we were off again.
It was quite an eye opener.
And talk about garbage, the hole of the main highway looks like a garbage dump. I couldnt believe how much litter there was.
It would be really nice to see being a visitor.
And the bloody flies............
They would carry you way when we camped out in the bush.
Quite a trip.

Tough old girls. The only 2 times I had mine stop was electrics which were my fault. 1nce I serviced it and pulled a wire off of the resistor or something and another time i changed the points and didnt tighten them enough and they closed up causing the symptems you describe.
It took me some places such as all the fishing tracks on the EP, cave hill, all the fishing tracks east of Esperance, Mid west gascoyne, Pilbara and it was going just the same when I sold it. It was nearly stuffed when i bought it and Nearly stuffed when I sold it 5 years later but never looked like dying. I will never forget the comment one person told me just before I left Pt lincoln to go to Kalgoorlie "you cant go there that thing is F%$#" I will post a pic of it when I get around to it coz its lime green colour truly made it an individual

I thought about doing that but the info that I saved is only the price and how much i bought etc. No brand Name or deisel prices etc, which is required by your system.
Didnt think about jotting down all that it was bad enoigh trying to remember what i wanted.
Next time.

Cheers

The additional fields on the system are not mandatory so if you only have ULP then just enter the ULP etc. It does want a brand however. No worries.
